About the Chamber of Commerce

The Forensic Science Chamber of Commerce (www.forensiccommerce.org) is creating unprecedented connections between organizations that produce and market products and services used in the forensic science industry with customers who use and/or procure them.  Our Chamber's mission is to produce synergy and cooperation among forensic science professionals and businesses having the common goal of increasing the reliability and efficiency of forensic science - not only in how it is practiced, but how it is supplied through free-market commerce.

The Chamber opened for membership on January 1, 2015.  Our first charter members were finalized on July 10, 2015.  

A Unified Voice

Forensic science has been the subject of attention for legislators at the local, state, and federal levels for several years.  With the 2009 National Academy of Science report and, now, the creation of a federal commission on forensic science, public policy is likely to impact the forensic science marketplace for years to come.  As certain forensic methods and technologies are judged for their validity or reliability, so too will the companies having the respective technology and expertise.  The Forensic Science Chamber of Commerce will seek to unify, inform, and empower those persons and organizations operating in the commercial markets of the forensic science industry.
